Abstract painting is a fascinating field of contemporary art. Inspired by various influences such as Joan Mitchell, Monet or Helen Frankenthaler, it involves a wide range of techniques and styles, from impasto and transparent applications of paint to spontaneous gestures and fantasy impressions. Abstract color field painting with structures and natural elements opens up new artistic possibilities.
Abstract painting is not about the depiction of real objects, but about the freedom of artistic expression in which emotions, ideas, and moods are expressed through colors, shapes, and structures. Abstract painting is a multifaceted and versatile art movement that offers room for individual interpretation and a wide range of creative expression.
Influences of famous artists such as Joan Mitchell, Helen Frankenthaler, and Claude Monet can be felt in many of these contemporary abstract landscapes. The powerful and spontaneous gestures of the American models, coupled with Monet’s impressionistic approach to capturing the beauty of nature in gentle morning moods and striking natural impressions, are infused into the works.
A characteristic feature in the abstract works is the use of impasto and transparent paint application. Various techniques are experimented with to create texture and depth, creating an immersive experience for the viewer. The spontaneous settlement in the application of paint adds vibrancy and movement to the paintings, while the use of abstract color fields in conjunction with textures and elements from nature creates a fascinating composition.
Object-based painting is evident, for example, in the modern beach impressions and landscape elements to capture the beauty and serenity of summer in a very unique way. The diversity of this art form captivates the viewer and invites them to discover their own imagination in the paintings.
Inspired by fantasy mountains and beach impressions, dreamlike and surreal scenes are created. These images take the viewer into another world, where the boundaries of reality blur and imagination plays the roles.
