These works are influenced by Cy Twombly, Monet, Joan Mitchell, Mark Rothko and also Rose Wylie.

Gobelin Paintings stand next to free abstract painted canvases. Nature motifs and strung together patterns, abstract forms as distant galaxies, painted transparencies, Native American peace symbols on canvas next to pyramids on paper, and dreamy landscapes are among the subjects. Both the gestural spontaneous painting style and the clear lines in the rhythmically structured works stand side by side. The color field painting shows itself in the pigment paintings.

These works create fascinating artistic expressions in which influences of Cy Twombly, Monet, Joan Mitchell and Rose Wylie can also be found. The canvases and works on paper display both a free abstract style and traits of color field painting, merging into an impressive visual symphony that captivates the viewer.

A harmonious symbiosis of colors, shapes and emotions emerges, transporting the viewer into a world of creativity and inspiration. „Paintings II“ is an invitation to discover the beauty of modern painting.

The works literally breathe as they capture the beauty and fleetingness of the moment. A close connection to nature is evident here as they transform their surroundings into a colorful and vibrant play of light and shadow.

The use of a vibrant color palette, the apparent disorder of the brushstrokes, and a powerful emotional approach give the works of Paintings II an extraordinary intensity. The influence of Joan Mitchell, a pioneer of abstract painting, is also evident here.

Color field painting, once introduced by Mark Rothko and other pioneers, is shown here in all its glory. The colors are generous and profound, merging and connecting with each other in a magical way. The result is a rich spectrum of color that appeals to the senses and evokes emotion. The pure application of the pigment produces an extraordinary color brilliance.

At the same time, we also find „tapestry paintings“ alongside the color-field-like works. These lend an additional dimension to the overall work. The tapestry technique, often associated with tapestries, has a modern statement here and is embedded in a modern abstract world. The hanging and form are reminiscent of tapestries, but the application of paint is the same as on a canvas.

The painting style varies from gestural spontaneous to clearly structured and rhythmic. These contrasting elements stand side by side and create a fascinating dialogue within the artwork. Spontaneous brushstrokes give the work a lively energy and a certain unpredictability, while clear lines bring an order and structure to the composition.
